Background

With the rise of industrial automation, the integration of green energy technology and smart buildings has led to the development of smart green buildings, which have become one of the key trends in the intelligent technology industry.

In building engineering, common rooftop ventilation structures, such as factory roof monitors and rooftop heat dissipation windows in smart buildings, use ventilation control and temperature regulation to achieve indoor environmental control and heat dissipation.

This successful case study shares how eyc-tech helped the building technology industry achieve effective environmental control, energy savings, and carbon reduction through high-precision measurement technology and accurate measurement data. These solutions help improve living environment quality, enhance quality of life, and support the transition toward a new era of smart green energy technology.

Rooftop heat dissipation windows use thermal convection and ventilation control to achieve rooftop heat dissipation.

Application Description

To meet the requirements of green building design, more accurate air velocity and temperature measurement data are needed. At the same time, the installation space is often limited. After understanding the customer’s requirements and application environment, the eyc-tech sales team shared experience from similar product applications and provided professional technical recommendations to help solve the engineering challenges.

eyc-tech recommended a combined temperature and air velocity measurement solution to meet the customer’s needs for data collection and installation flexibility.

The FTS35 Air Velocity Transmitter  was recommended for installation in the heat dissipation window with limited space. The FTS35 uses a thermistor sensing element to achieve high-speed and high-accuracy air velocity and temperature measurement. It also supports computerized linear calibration, multiple physical unit settings, DIP switch configuration, and RS-485 communication, making it suitable for different environmental conditions.

Through 4–20 mA output to a paperless recorder, the customer can independently configure the measurement range of each physical parameter, meeting the requirements for multi-point temperature and air velocity measurement, as well as long-term data recording.

Product Implementation Benefits

The eyc-tech air velocity and temperature transmitter solution outputs data to a paperless recorder via 4–20 mA, helping the customer remotely obtain accurate measurement data and verify product performance.

By measuring airflow and temperature variations, the customer can adjust indoor temperature more effectively, achieving heat dissipation through ventilation control and temperature regulation. This improves indoor living quality while supporting energy saving and environmental protection, enabling successful entry into the green building industry.
